Stress & Burnout
Symptoms of stress can be difficult to notice.
It’s like that extra 10lbs that slowly creeps up on you, all of a sudden one day your pants are a little tighter and you think ‘how did this happen’?! The symptoms of stress are many and varied which is why it is so easy to adapt to it without noticing.
Before you know it your daily coffee intake has increased or you are sneaking more sweets or you are having an extra glass of wine or two in the evening; anything just to keep you going during the day or help you relax at night.
These are just a few ways that we try to cope with an increased list of demands or feelings of stress. Eventually this way of coping will have a greater negative affect on your life and your health if you don’t do anything to stop the stress cycle NOW.
You may find your relationships becoming strained; not feeling like there’s enough of you to go around. You may feel like there’s something ‘off’ but you just can’t put your finger on it. This is what happens when you are running on overdrive and it is affecting your hormones.
Don’t just ‘manage’ your stress, let’s eradicate it.
